Spring has sprung!

Signs of spring are emerging everywhere around the lake. As the water rushes over the dam, residents are rushing to get ready for the season.

Volunteers are needed! Joey Brashier and Tiffany Johnson are leading our Eagle Lake Community Volunteer Project. You’ll receive an email anytime volunteer opportunities arise. Some require coordination with others but some projects, such as our recent request for help with signs, can be done on your own. Any and all help is welcome!

Sam Blackman has developed a survey to help the Board with feedback and establishing priorities moving forward. Please make sure you take the time to complete it when it arrives in your inbox. Your input is valuable and will help the board plan, prioritize and address outstanding items in the future.

Memorial Day Weekend heralds the first Community Potluck of the Summer Season. Potlucks are held on Saturday nights all summer beginning at 6:00pm in the Picnic Shelter. First one to arrive lights the fire in the grill. Bring a dish to share, your own place settings, beverage, and something to grill for yourself. Let’s see if we can make our first dinner together a record setter in attendance.

The Picnic Shelter and Lake area have been reserved for the afternoon (12-5pm) of May 20th for a Celebration of Life honoring Eagle Lake resident Tim Wells who passed away in April. All residents are welcome to attend.

Rumor has it that we will be getting new neighbors at Eagle Lake in April. We're excited about having new neighbors on Forest Lane. We’re looking forward to welcoming more new folks to our community. Several home sites and homes are for sale. Please let any interested friends and families know.

See you at the lake!
